English Session 4

Yesterday, we were divided in 2 groups. In the one hand, me filming and making the bill and in the other hand, the others machining the parts for our robot.

I had to find some place on the bill to write our robot features and the name of all the participants of the contest. I finally deleted a picture to solve this problem.

The others filed our main structure to make it easier to use, we machined some and more precisely parts on and began to assemble the robot.

I filmed most of what they did to make a movie.

English Session 3

Today was the most critical session of the semester as we said last week. Indeed, we machined most of all the parts of the robot. Our main structure is ready to welcome all the little parts which stick out of it.

We received this week our two conics gears and we have to admit that these are our best machined parts.

But, we tried to begin to assembly the robot and unfortunately, we had a problem with the entry shaft. Indeed it was a litlle bit too long so the conics gears were not in good conditions to be used.

English Session 2

Wednesday 12 february, we continued to try to finalize all the machining sequences and hopefully, we have shown those which were already done to our teacher.

He rejected one of our part because it was not as good as the others. Indeed, we had to change  the external shape of the part for mechanical needs.

We also in a second part begun to machine one part because we had the chance to have one machine available.

This was not a very interesting day for most of us  but one of the most important of the semester because it is critical to begin the machining session of the project next week.

English Session 1

Here is our first english sum up which is about the last week session. So, last week, we tried to finalize all our machining sequences. We have to send an e-mail to our teacher which contains the design drawing and the machining sequence of each part to get the right to produce the robot parts.

Nous avons effectué la revue d'industrialisation la semaine suivant notre dernier compte-rendu. Nous nous sommes rendu-compte que nous étions très en retard par rapport au cahier des charges. En effet, à cette revue, nous aurions dû avoir au moins trois pièces usinées. Or Nous n'avions que des plans pour la découpe jet d'eau à présenter qui n'étaient de plus pas entièrement définis. Nos gammes de pièces étaient incomplètes et mal présentées.

Tous notre groupe c'est donc tourné vers la conception et la méthode pour pouvoir tenter de rattraper le retard accumulé. le blog a malheureusement dû être laissé à l'abandon pendant cette période qui n'est d'ailleurs toujours pas terminée.

En ce jour, nous avons validé et envoyé 7 pièces à la découpe jet d'eau qui seront usinées la semaine prochaine. A noter qu'il faudra plier certaines pièces et le bâti nous pose des problèmes d'encombrement. Nous nous efforçons de faire valider une gamme d'usinage pour pouvoir commencer à usiner nos pièces.

Pour la partie communication, une affiche en anglais de format A1 doit être rédigée pour le concours. Vous pouvez voir ci-contre le fond de l'affiche réalisé sous Gimp 2.0. Il faudra par la suite y rajouter toutes les informations relatives à notre robot et au concours.

Enfin, nous venons de réaliser que 30% de la rédaction du Blog devait être en anglais donc à partir de ce jour, tous les articles sont intégralement rédigés en anglais.
